Islamabad Model College for Boys H-9, Islamabad (Formerly Federal Govt. College (Men) H-9 Islamabad is one of the oldest institutions of the Federal Capital. It was founded by the Punjab Government in 1965. The Federal Government took over administrative control of this college in 1974.
It is situated on main double road linking the twin cities (9th Avenue), and is easily accessible through by public and private transport. The college has a vast area of 47 acres, a very beautiful campus with spacious classrooms, a library, laboratories, administrative and academic blocks and an auditorium. A gymnastic stadium, cricket, football and hockey grounds, basketball court and magnificent Jamia mosque and hostel for the students who hail from far flung areas are the unique features of the campus.
